Ms. Catherine Wakeford is the newest addition to the Montessori Academy.  She will be offereing private piano and voice lessons as well as an excellent recorder program that your children will surely love.  Obtaining two degrees in Music and Music Education, Catherine has many experiences with primany and intermediate grades, including teaching in Harlow, England where she found a joy in teaching young children.  She is looking forward to sharing her knowledge and experiences as well as educating your children the importance of music and what it has to offer.  She believes that music is vital to a child's learning and should be available to whom ever wishes to be a part of it.

It enhances the mind of a child while they discover their creativity.  Given the chance to share those talents is a great accomplishment for the child, but also to their family, friends, teachers and fellow students.  If you have been blessed with a gift, it is nothing until you share it.
