The Montessori Academy of Windsor offers a program for preschoolers and kindergartners based on the principles and teachings of Dr. Maria Montessori.
Our goal is to encourage and nurture the child's natural love for learning, creativity and independence. The elementary years are the most important in a child's love for learning and enjoyment of school.
Objectives:
To offer tailored education to each student enrolled
To get to know each child individually
To maintain a nurturing and caring environment in which to grow
To provide materials that will enrich and create understanding
To be roll models as calm, enthused, and courteous educators
To provide an environment for children varying in age and ability
To provide communication to parents regarding the successes/difficulties of their child
To show the children the importance of social grace and courtesy
To record and track the movement and progress of each child
To help each child establish a strong sense of self
To teach the children to appreciate and embrace their differences
