The Montessori Academy of Windsor provides quality Montessori education in an environment, which fosters a child's love of learning and a respect for self, others, community and the world. We are dedicated to providing an environment, which promotes a child's physical, emotional, social and cognitive development.

Our philosophy is based on the findings of Dr. Maria Montessori who observed children over a long period of time. Her life's work was devoted to discovering what children need and how can we help. Based on her research, carefully designed environments for children have been created on nearly every continent. She determined that children need:

Our emphasis is to arouse the child's interest, to stimulate and to provide a learning atmosphere. In our "prepared environment" which promotes an interactive learning experience, our goal is to create within each child a deep sense of self-confidence, both intellectually and socially.
